Hello forum friends, here is a new song I've been trying to mix. Again I'd appreciate any feedback from you, be it your genre or not. Thanks.

Hi, Im thinking that the whole mix is a bit Middle -ey if you understand?
It lack Low end for me anyway, Im not a fan of that double track style vocal, its a bit 70's rock, ...maybe thats what you wanted? The guitars also seem to be in constant riff mode, maybe think about easing off and using it a bit more sparingly? Anyhow....just my opinion, all the bits are there, just need tweaking ! |
thanks for the feedback tim...I'm torn on these vocal decisions. Trying to make it thicker I've gotta a track mono down the center and a mono left & right with the Doubler plugin manipulating each side...maybe I should just keep it more simple....decisions ..decisions. :roll

I think you have enough bottom.
The lead vocal frequency is way too harsh IMO. Feels like the vocals are slightly ahead of the beat in places. I would fix that first. Guitars sound good. |
