nice... intro was killer. The sustained guitar was my favorite. only nit is the music progression seems to wander around a bit...kinda more a backdrop to the lead tracks, without a definition. Very nicely recorded.

Quite a psychedelic moonlit trip, nice one. Good panning and overall sound, liked the solo guitar part in particular.

Thanks all for listening to this. ;)

There are 2 parts in particular that one might say 'wander' or are 'kinda crazy'. The flanger on those 2 parts were printed with a POD device, so they're un-editable (other than EQ).

Although I love some sounds my POD's have, 95% of the time I only use them live. Now, 98% of my studio recorded guitar tracks use the Scuffham amp sim "S-Gear".

Do I hear Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, and Dire Straits influences in this?

Hmm, possibly?
Thanks for listening and the kind reference.

I do love those 3 bands and since we're a sponge as we go through life, I'm sure that their songs influenced my music.

I've mostly been in original music bands and not a fan of doing covers, so I've never learned any songs from those 3 bands. But alas, I have done some covers but mostly in the hard rock vein.
