Hey, I really like this!
To me it has a slight pop-punk vibe. Love the flange (or overly chorused) guitar effects too. It's minor but the vocal doesn't 'sit' right to me and I struggle to understand your lyrics. But I've heard those techniques done on vox, so it's just another way of doing things.

Thanks scotty. I'm not sure the effects the guys used laying down the guitar tracks (line6HD500) but I didnt put anything on them except the lead guitar...I used the S1 chorus plugin on that.
Yea my vocals not too happy with still. I got a straight up the middle track with S1 beat delay plug on that then panned Waves doubler on each side. I know my annunciation is kinda fuzzy! Probably should re-sing it. Thnx for the comments.

I liked it. It has some timing issues with the drums hitting a bit late or the guitars are hitting a bit too quick to the tempo.
Sounds of guitars and bass are good. Drums maybe too compressed (you can hear that on the cymbals). Lead vocal has too much effect IMO. I think you sang it well and backgrounds are good too. You are really close if you address the vocal EFX. The song is good. Nice job. |
