I think an in ear system over cat5 cable. Like that of behringer system but where it can be controlled by AI or UC software.

99% sure that it won't. You'll probably be able, with the software that comes with the in-ear system, to map inputs of that system to outputs of your PreSonus interface. But UC will control the PreSonus interface, not the in-ear system.

If the dante card will give you direct outputs of the mixer channels you should be able to use a mac as a monitor station.

Just aggregate the builtin soundcard with a virtual dante soundcard and you can mix your monitor(s) with some 6mS latency or so...

True, but it won't get any faster either. Add a plugin or two and it might start to get annoying. Hmmm, need to read up on AVB/Dante latency to find out if a fast computer would reduce those 6ms by half...

Not with the virtual soundcard. It is cap'ed at 4+1mS as its lowest latency.

The only way to get any lower latency is to use

https://www.audinate.com/products/manuf ... -pcie-card

Best thing is that it supports a thunderbolt to pci box for those laptops...

Another option is to connect a x32-core with x-dante and have it convert the digital audio to the ultranet protocol and then use the p16 monitor system. A perfect symbiosis where presonus #heart# behringer
