Capture 1.x and Capture 2.x

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any suggestions to address the issue. I have a new Behringer XR18 mixer which I hooked up to my computer so I could capture my bands practice session. But now that I go back to check, the song cut off after 9 mins and 47 secs. I had the song set for 4 hours. I have plenty of hard drive space and a fast computer and drive.

The really odd things is that I checked on the recording a number of times during about a 3 hour practice and it appeared to be recording the whole time. But when I stopped the recording, and then saved the song, all I ended up with was less than 10 minutes of basically tuning up. Very frustrating. Playing a gig this Saturday and was hoping to capture the performance, but now worried that it will do the same thing.

Any thoughts, suggestions? Anyone else experienced something like this? I have the Artist version of Studio One.

Um...microoks... Capture is a platform dependent software, made to be used with Studiolive mixers...shouldn't work with your bringer mixer at ALL!

Are you using Studio One Artist?

The folks in the Studio One forum could help you better than me, your use of the word capture, and being in the capture forum is making us think you are using the capture software (not studio One) but that's impossible because it won't work with your mixer, but Studio One should, try that forum for your question. . .

If using Artist, it sounds like a firewire dropout to me. Would need to see more information about your system, specifically hardware and firewire chipset.

This should be in the S1 forums, but I will leave here for now.
