Here is what i have:

Well, I am sorry to say there isn't any published specs for Capture/Capture 2 that I can find right now...My thoughts are, that Capture will work but Capture 2 might not...You failed to indicate which OS your on.. that too can make a difference as Apple continues to alienate it's now suffering... loyal public.
I know that my Duocore Imac works fine with capture, but not Capture 2... I'll see if I can get some clarification of what the company line is on minimum system specs are for Capture/2...

I found these requirements:
Mac Mac® OS X 10.7.5 or later Intel® Core™ Duo processor (Intel Core 2 Duo or Core i3 or better recommended) 4 GB RAM (more recommended) In just wondering about the processor. Thanks |

I would end up maxing out the ram and updating the OS to make it work. We have this computer sitting and not being used, so I was going use it for recording with capture.

If you only meet the basic requirements you would be limited in the number of tracks you could use, and I bet C2 would have a hard time running at all...
