Using Capture with AVB Network Connection

Just received the new SL32 S3 board. It's quite the technical marvel. I was able to establish both USB and AVB connection with my mini-mac and have been learning the benefits of each. However, I learned that full Capture functionality only works with the USB connection. Apparently, I'm only able to transfer audio using the AVB connection and NOT the syncing features between the board and Capture software. If anybody knows how to get the AVB connection to sync data as well as audio please share.
