I use the excellent studiolive 16.0.2 mixer and think it would be good to record a performance to capture. I am also contemplating a 2 channel audio interface to record keyboard / voice to desktop, laptop or iPad.
However none of my devices have FireWire or Audiobus (I think it is called) but they do have USB 3.
Is there an adapter/interface (say FireWire to USB) that would allow me to connect the mixer but still give me the option of taking say a two channel interface out and about.
The desktop is Dell xps8900, i7, 64 bit, Windows 10
The laptop is Hp pavilion dv7, amd, Windows 7
iPad 2 64Gb
I never need to record multiple tracks to desktop.
