I am getting very frustrated trying to find a way to use capture. I cannot record from my studiolive 16:4:2 AI to capture as I don't have a laptop with firewire and it's difficult to find one without spending a fortune. Dante card is also too expensive. I have seen that the presonus audio box interface can be connected directly to an ipad with a cable which would allow me to record to capture on the ipad however I cannot find any information on connecting my studiolive directly to the ipad via a cable. As the studiolive is also an interface I would imagine this should be achievable. Any help with this would be appreciated

I picked up a used (2011 or newer) Mac Mini on eBay for about $300 a month or two ago to handle my recording. I leave it in the travel rack case with my RM32 connected via Firewire. I used a keyboard, mouse and screen just to configure the Mac to allow remote screen sharing and now I access it over the network using a VNC program from the iPad or using screen sharing from a mac. I'm pretty sure there are low cost or free VNC programs available for Windows as well... Just a thought..............

Yes good point! Last I knew "Splashtop would do this, and it's free.
