Is it possible to daisy chain 2 lightpipe interfaces to hava total of 2 * 32 channels?

That should be theoretically possible BUT in order to achieve that much I/O you would also need
either 2x32 channel digital mixers or EIGHT Digimax D8's!

I want it for input of other PCs (with adat output) used as soundmodules into my main daw.

The manual mentions a channel maximum for chaining firewire interfaces but shows examples that are beyond that maximum. So I wasn't sure if this would work.

My initial response may have been a bit overly optimistic. The firewire connection itself has bandwidth limitations. I believe that FW400's max throughput at 44.1k is 32 tracks regardless
of input source. Maybe you can get more with FW800.
