Splitting notes in Progression 3?

I've been writing songs in Hookpad, and recently purchased Progression 3 because the current version of Hookpad doesn't support 32nd notes or triplets, and I have a song for which I need these things. I exported the basic chord progression I had created in Hookpad to a midi file and opened it in Progression. Now the first thing I would like to do is split some of the chords that currently have a 5/16 note duration into two chords, one of 7/32 note duration, and one of 3/32 note duration. However, I can't seem to figure out how to split notes in Progression, and I haven't been able to find anything in the help section that explains it. Is there a way to do this that I am just missing?
