I use Notion for iPad exclusively as my notation software. Since I've had a
couple of weeks with the new update, here are my pros and cons of the
update, so far.

Pros
*I like the new homepage and the addition of the template selection.
*I like the new way to "Save As" by lightly presssing on a title in the
homepage.
*I like the new options for formatting pages (margins, etc.)

Cons
*Frequent crashes
*The "Send" feature should go back to the way it was in the previous
version. Everything was in one opo-up menu, not the back and forth pop-ups
in the new upadte.
*The mixing board should go back to the realistic-looking board as in the
previous version. While iOS has some nice cosmetic features, this is one
case where iOS' flat look is not needed. Notion for iPad is a serious music
making tool and the realistic board gave a seriious look to the program.
Please go back to it.
*Unless I'm missing it, I still do not see a feature for adding a copyright
footer to compositions. The PC version has this. Please add it to the iPad
version.

Thanks,
Pete

I'm fine with the look of the mixing board.

Save seems to save a new copy of the score, every time you click it. I'm not sure what it's supposed to do, as the iPad in theory continuously saved. Before, I think it just saved as is.

The one thing I love the most, I have to admit, is the ability to turn off the keyboard/fretboard/mixer easily, instead of cycling through all the choices to find none.

I redownloaded all my instruments, which was a pain. But now it tells me, every time I open notion, that it's downloading them again. Then it tells me they are downloaded. It's annoying.

The update seems to be primarily cosmetic. It looks prettier, but doesn't work as well ( in fact, at the moment it's doesn't work at all ) . I did my concern with the jumping cursor to that thread.
