Hello,

I'm very frustrated with the rule editing. I'm simply trying to get a grasp on how the rules work. First, can you write rules for the built in instruments?

For example I want to write a simple rule to test if the rule responds by using the built in Flute, and creating a rule that looks at the dynamic setting, and if it is FF or greater, to turn on fluttertongue.

No matter what I try, there is no response or change in the music. Can anyone walk through doing this with the Rule Editor? I just want to see that the rule creation actually works.

Thank you

I think I get it.

The rules do not seem to be able to be applied to existing sounds and presets. Only new custom preset or directly on VSTis . My rules seems to work when I use VSTis.

Can anyone confirm that rules will not work on built in sounds?

You are correct, there are internal rules that control the Notion Instruments, but they are locked down and cannot be altered or changed, nor are they accessible for viewing. Guessing it's something to do with licensing of the original sounds?

Rules can only be applied to VST instruments.
