Hi guys

is it possible to save the rules with a vst preset (baked in)

I have tried with no luck :-(

I'm brand spanking new to it, but in creating a preset, I have saved a one-instrument/staff .notion file for each sound in the preset (i.e. one each for violin, harp, horn, etc), and on each of those I've picked the custom rules (Shift Y), picked "use", and then clicked on the first note of the first measure which gives a litle square-bracketed [great rules] indicator.

From there, if I open a track in the preset that's based on this, those rules apply, but they don't show anywhere if I pull of the rules dialog. Hence baked-in.

Not sure if that's what you're hoping to do, bup that's what I discovered.

Yes. If you create a preset with a ruleset attached to the staff, then the ruleset will be "baked into" the VST preset.
