Hello
The new player from VSL has arrived. In order to use it with Notion, rules must be created. Somebody knows how to control the Synchron player with Notion ? Thanks. François |
François, I've started writing a ruleset for Synchron Player. It will take a while, but I'll post it here when complete.
So far the SP works beautifully with Notion, by the way, and the Notion rules editor is a great way to write the multiple keyswitch commands that are required to make the Synchron Player work.

The rules have to be different because the keyswitches are in different octave locations on the keyboard. This is because of the range of the upper strings vs the lower ones.
I don't know anything about using an instrument ID in a Notion rule. My rules are working fine without it. I've completed both the Violins and Cellos. I was waiting on the other instrument libraries to be released to know what the keyswitch octaves are. I'd like to do a final test with all instruments, before I post them publicly. I'll PM the ones I have completed to you for test and feedback.
