I desperately need to write tuplets across bar lines. I've seen this in printed score (contemporary music). In Sibelius and Finale it's possible to fake those tuplets, but not so in Notion.

A "native" solution would be wonderful.

I take your point. Very helpful and useful function in contemporary music

Hi Wolfgang,

The "correct" way of notating your example is to break the second tuplet quarter into two tied eighth notes. As notated, your first bar has too many beats in it. I know that even engraved, published scores use that kind of shorthand, but for the time being it seems that Notion must focus on metrically correct notation in order to preserve the intended rhythm in playback (which is Notion's strength over other notation programs).

Or are you advocating for the ability to notate things that won't play back?

Best,
Thorrild
