Let's say I've sketched 8 bars of 4 note chords either by entering them by hand or recording them via midi keyboard. By default, all the notes will be in voice 1 in a piano stave or other instrument stave.

I now want to explode these chords into 4 separate staves, say, 1 trumpet, 2 saxes and 1 trombone. A feature to allow this would be great. Failing this, I would be happy to be able to select a particular note in the chord e.g. 2nd note from the top for all the chords in the 8 bars and then copy/paste into another stave.

When I initially saw that Notion 5 could copy/paste between voices I got excited that I would be able to do the above. Unfortunately not. The new feature only works for chords where each note in the chord has been specifically allocated to a voice using ctrl+1, 2, 3 or 4.
