When arranging for a horn section (lets say 2 trumpets and a sax), it would be very timesaving to first enter the notes for all the instruments at once to one staff using a midikeyboard, and then split the notes into different staffs.

Example (simple - but hopefully illustrates what I mean):
With my MIDI-keyboard I enter three wholenotes in the same Basic Staff - making for example an F-chord (F-A-C).
Would then like to select the F-chord and split the three notes to: F in Trp1, A in Trp2 and C in Tenorsax (See Capture below)
