If possible, it would be nice to have a "humanize tempo" function that could be globally added to the playback preferences of the score. I see it as a setting that one could enter to very slightly randomize the tempo to provide a more human played feel.

This is by far the best scoring software that I have worked with that did not sound like a robot when playing back a score! If it is possible to add this I think it would add yet another dimension. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.

Troy, you can play with the nTempo feature to record slight changes in tempo. Once you've recorded them, then you can adjust them to a great degree of accuracy using the nTempo track.

I'll give that a shot. I would imagine that this would be best done after the score is finished?

Not necessarily, it's very easy to record time changes to the nTemp track, and you can also edit them, as you compose.

That said, I usually opt for entering tempo changes as tempo markings on the score. The program responds very well to rit. and acc.
