I downloaded and installed the Flute Section expansion but when I opened my score in Notion 5, I got a message that says "Flute section sounds not available." The flute section is still grayed out. I bought several expansions today and each of them downloaded fine and worked in Notion. The flute sounds are in the folder "Expansions" on my hard drive.

When you click Help | Software Activation..., do you see "Flute Section" in the list of authorized sounds? If not, click on Receive Licenses and verify that it gets added. If it is there, then you have the same problem I have, except for me it is Classical Guitar. All of the Flute sounds (Flute, Section, Duo, Alto, Bass) are authorized and available. Classical Guitar is authorized, I've d/l'd and installed it twice, to no avail.

I'm hoping your eventual solution also works for me.

I had to download it again. Now it works. Problem solved.

I received the license when download the first expansion earlier today. It was for all 5 expansions.

In my score no sound of Alto Flute. Why? What could I do?

Alto Flute is an expansion instrument. You have to purchase it as part of the Woodwinds Expansion pack.
