Hi all
I’m a newbie to Notion and I was wondering if anyone could help (and apologies if I am using any incorrect terminology)
If, for piano, I write an F# Major (F#,A#,C#) followed by F# Minor (F#,A,C#) in the same measure, they sound the same. If I put them in different measures, they are, as expected, tonally different. Is there any way of having the chords in sequence and sounding different (Other than experimenting with bar lengths)? I hope someone can help?

Hi and welcome to this forum :)

The A probably needs a natural sign (♮) i.e. a nudge down from A♯. Inside a measure a sharp (♯) or flat (♭) shift remains active until followed by a natural sign.
