I'm finding that importing MIDI files into Notion does not include CCs. Is there any way to get this to happen? I've imported MIDI to sequencer staves and also just normally. I noticed two things off the bat that weren't happening or present as editable on the Sequencer staves: panning and expression in which the particular MIDI file I was using has in abundance.
I'll continue to test but maybe someone has noticed this or has a fix? |
Hi,
still experimenting. I haven't figured out the import thing but I did notice that hairpins do not Export CC 11 over time between notes with MIDI on standard staves when exporting a staff to MIDI. Only at the instance of the note playing does CC 11 get transmitted. This seems to tie into other issues noted in some of other forum posts. However, it seems a track or staff set to External MIDI will export CC 11 (hairpin) over time between notes. This understanding will help me with my exporting to and editing in a DAW. It may also be important to note that "fluid" CCs can be captured from an external performance. |
