Continuing my exploration of short peices for small ensembles, here's Number 10 in the series, Souvenir. This is my own free interpretation of a theme by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, based on his Chanson Triste.

I've used piano as the foundation and added a trio of solo strings along with clarinet and bass clarinet. I was focusing on harmony and building on a set chord progression (P.T.'s).

This recording was realized using Notion and Studio One, featuring Aaron Venture Infinite Clarinet and Bass Clarinet, Ivory Italian Grand and Chris Hein Solo Strings.

As always, feedback is always appreciated.
