This recording was made using a score transcribed into Notion a number of years ago (I've shared it below for those that might be interested as the composition's in the public domain). I assigned rulesets to control the VST instruments and then exported the MIDI to Studio One (there are a series of tutorial videos pinned at the top of this page if you're interested in my workflow). This recording was made using Spitfire Chamber Strings and Spitfire Studio Woodwinds and Brass.

This is ear candy!
THOUGHTS The Spitfire instruments are superb, and it's not easy to get this blend of instruments to sound realistic, but it's very realistic . . . More often than not, clarinets, flutes, violins, and so forth tend to sound like a 1960s Farfisa Combo Organ; but these instruments sound like real instruments and they are pleasant when I listen with studio quality headphones (SONY MDR-7506 headphones, a personal favorite), which is fabulous . . . Fabulous!

davidbullock7 wroteNice work, never thought you could get that sort of flow with MIDI instruments! Thanks! It's been something I've spent a lot of time at over the last 8 years or so.
