I was having serious lag problems with Notion and Big Sur, especially when doing anything where something was attached to the cursor (slurs, rules, etc.).
Brian from Tech Support suggested I reset my NVRam, (used to also be called PRam). Problem solved! No more lag, everything is beautifully snappy and fast! Which tells me two things: 1. Brian is a God, and it's always worth asking Notion tech support before giving up. and 2. APPLE IS THE BOMB.

So this didn't actually work for me. Notion 6.8.1 runs continuously at 100% of one of my cores.
