I'm quantizing and editing piano note lengths for a piece I sent from Notion to Studio One. Seems that staccato eighth notes are being assigned a length of 0.58 instead of 1/8 (1.0). I suppose that's appropriate, since staccato notes are brief.

In the case of accented notes, notes that should be 3/8 of a 6/8 measure (ie, 1/2 of the measure) end up being 2/3 as long as I would expect (2/8, rather than 3/8). I would expect accents to affect note velocity, but not length.

Curious to know other user's thoughts about how staccato and accent articulations should affect note length.

I'll definitely be humanizing the midi notation in S1, but I'd prefer to start with accurate durations before humanizing seemingly arbitrary values.
