I have been using the shift+space+#+R for looping but I just tried entering the number 10 (no number pad) OS X El Capitan Ver 10.11.6 and it won't do the looping. Here is what I do:
Select the tenth measure (final measure) then shift +space the upper numbers on the keyboard 1 and 0 then the R. But it will not loop. If I use single numbers it loops successfully.
Any idea how to over come this problem? Thanks

Hi Robert.
(8) eight measures is the maximum limit for repeated loop sections in Notion.
But when I need to listen to a longer portion of a score repeatedly in order to make edit decisions I insert temporary barline repeats with a setting of 99x. And a temporary rehearsal mark to use as a temp bookmark?
Then simply delete them when I'm finished.
The computer keyboard shortcut is a single colon symbol [ : ] and 2x [ :: ] for the end repeat.
Double click on the end repeat barline to open it's dialog and enter the number of times to repeat.

Thank you. I wish Notion would get a proper loop, like every other music daw.
