Pleased to present the latest release from Tensivity! This is Cotswold Hill-Tune by Charles Wilfred Orr, from 1939, for string orchestra. I've recorded it here in Notion using Vienna Symphonic Dimension Strings. I haven't used those in some time, but they are exceptional for capturing works written for divisi strings. Here, for instance, the violas are split into two sections and then in some parts they play divisi so there are just a few instruments playing together. I also added Spitfire Solo Strings in for detail. They are very subtle but add another layer of human quality to the ensemble.

Let me know what you think!

Michael

HI:)

Very nice work!!

I can hear sometimes a little break where it schould not be. don't know these strings yet, but maybe there you cannot articulate "Bow Up" and "Bow down", so it would be alltime "Bow Down", so you can hear a little break. with two directions of playing strings, it is a bit more legato in these places...

Just an idea;)

Great work and sorry about my German school englisch:)

Heinz, danke for listening! My German is terrible, even though that's a large part of my heritage, but many generations ago.

There is no control with the Dimension Strings for bowing direction.
