Hi,
I've looked through the previous "Metronome not working" posts and none seem to match my situation. I have one Mac running Sierra on which Notion 6's metronome works fine both in recording and playback. I have another Mac, also running Sierra, on which Notion 6's metronome isn't working. I've checked the metronome wav files on both systems and they are identical. The install is identical. I'm open to suggestions as to what to try? Trashing some plist file or something? I've done a complete reinstall of Notion 6 on the machine on which it's not working and that doesn't fix it either. The clave track idea is a sort of workaround, but intrusive to workflow. Sometimes I want to fire up Notion to capture an idea immediately from my MIDI keyboard and I don't want to have to set up a click track first. Any ideas? Kind regards Derek.

I fixed it! Thankful!
Here is what it was. As one can trash the cache file for the Plugins, which I've done before to rescan the plugins, I was looking in the same dir, which, on macOS at least is under: Library/Application Support/Notion Music/Notion 6 and, I noticed there is also a file called SamplerDef64.cache and I got to thinking... (you know, as one does, as it all percolates ) Sampler... Sampling... Samples... Metronome samples... Ohhhh! Huh. Then I checked the size of that file, compared to the other two systems I have 6 installed on, and... it was significantly different. So, after making a copy of that file in case I ruined things, I removed it, and then restarted Notion and .... It works! Yea! Thankful for that. Now I can record again. Cool
