I've reworked this piece using KH CS3 strings after having set it aside for a year or so. In this recording, I've used Notion Sequencer Staves to record MIDI CC data to control the vibrato of the instruments. It makes a world of difference for realism.

I'm still of the opinion that this library is one of the best for the price point. The sound rivals that of libraries at twice the cost or more!

This recording was made in Notion, using VSL Hybrid Reverb for a nice hall tail, and the winds and horns are VSL. The VSL Euphonium is really quite nice.

Let me know what you think.

Well done Michael!

You convinced me I did the right thing when I acquired the KH kit at such a low price! And your latest instalment is yet another demonstration. Thanks!
These days, I'm working on the master score of the Adagio of Mozart's K422 Piano Cto ( "Elvira Madigan"). The idea being my sister will sit at the piano and perform while my (virtual) "Orchestre du Palais" provides the required background. And yes, I plan to use a KH string ensemble!
Right now, I'm adjusting the mix and ambience to achieve a credible concert hall. I'll keep you posted.

And here's what we might be using before long to "conduct" our home made orchestras. It's something I had envisioned a while ago but lacked the technical savvy to build. . .

Thans for listening Marcato. I've seen the glove before, I think it would be very interesting if it could follow the movements of a conductor a la Stokowski to affect playback of Notion.
