Hi,

I'm trying to delete the first two bars of a piece. The only thing in the piece is some imported audio that has two bars of dead space and I can't seem to get rid of them.

Thanks

Select the measures you want to delete, then use the "Edit>Delete" command in the program menu at the top of the window. Make sure you have the entire measures selected. The delete button on your keyboard won't work for deleting measures, only for deleting notes and other content.

Okay michaelmyers1, once again a knight in shining armour. I did try the edit>delete command but it seems that I wasn't selecting the entire measure. Many thanks again!

Glad to be of help. If you double click in a measure it will select the whole thing. Then you can use Shift and double click in another measure to add the measures in between.
