OK I've check the box that says "Sequencer Track" for all of my staves. I'm still looking at standard notation, How do I get to actual sequencer view?

There is no separate "sequencer view". You can view the sequencer overlay in the score window by hitting the <tab> key.

I want Sequencer Staves as described on section 14.2 in the manual. It doesn't show how to get an existing score to use sequencer staves. That's my confusion. |
Ah, I see. It appears that you can't convert an existing staff to a sequencer staff. According to the user's guide, it looks like there are only 2 options for populating a sequencer staff with data. One is to play the data in from a MIDI keyboard, and the other is to import it from a MusicXML file.
It seems that the only way to convert notation already in Notion to sequencer data would be to export a MusicXML file and then import it back in. Rather painful! I hope others might shed some light on this...
