Hi folks
i just remapped some Keyboard Shortcuts of Notion4 in this week
and i would like to share with u guys
anyway, its not complete
i cant find anything about those contain Ctrl/Shift..etc

So, i use Autohotkey to help me (dont worry, thats a free software)
such as clear velocity, set as tacet

(i heard that current version of Notion5 is still not possible to edit shortcuts,
u may want to try it on N5, i know thats still a KeyboardMap file in N5, so its probably more or less the same.
i dont have N5 to test, sorry)

Ok first of all
suppose that u installed Notion with its default setting
go to : C:\Program Files\Notion4\Support\Lists
u can see KeyboardMap.tpk ( copy, in case u screw it up)
open it with any text editor

look for "Keyboard sequence"></property>"
here's an example:

pp means pressing p key twice
changing pp within >< changes the Keyboard Shortcuts
(a modified .tpk in attachment)

i think u get the idea now, so...move on
since some of the ideas are impossible to be done by editing .tpk
so i called Autohotkey to help me

Autohotkey's format is .ahk, which again can be opened by any text editor
i read the official manual, and with Google's help, created the .ahk file in 2 days. (so im still a newbie...)
just see my .ahk to get the idea(its also in the attachment, double click it to run)

here's the List of Changes of my files:

.tpk

- pressing a note-value key twice will change highlighted-notes to that note value ( instead of pressing =q, =w, =e)
(eg: press w/q/e/s/t twice; see Notion4 manual Chapter10.5)

- press D key + note-value key will change highlighted-notes to the respective note value with dot
(eg: press d+e, d+q)

- press note-value key + R key to get Rest
(eg: q+r , t+r)

.ahk (the following keys are effective only if your window-focus is Notion4)

- Capslock: activate Step-Time entry

- A key: select all measures of a track (original Ctrl+shift+A is just a obstacle.) (u can still use Shift+A to get arpeggio without any problem)

- Y key: paste insert (u can still use Shift+Y to use Rule-Set without any problem)

- f2 Key: 'Files' menu

- f4 Key: Set as Tacet for highlighted-notes ( doesnt work if no note is highlighted)

- f5 Key: Make Tuplet ( doesnt work if no note is highlighted)

- f6 Key: Remove Tuplet ( doesnt work if no note is highlighted)

- f7 Key: Staff Setting Menu

- f8 Key: Randomize Events Menu

- f9 Key: Quantize to Notation

- f10 Key: Clear Velocities

- f12 Key: Dynamic Parts Menu
