As I well learned.
Ukulele expansion pack: 1) purchased, 2) downloaded, 3) installed, [wait, not done!], 4) activated (via Help | Software Activation... | Receive Licenses). The expansion instrument I'm having trouble with is the Classical Guitar. I purchased the Expansion Pack bundle when it was on sale, and finally got all of the .prox files downloaded and installed (many, many GBs). The only instrument not working is Classical Guitars. I d/l'd and installed it twice. The license for it shows up in Notion. The file is obviously in my download area. But it still remains grayed out; no sound. I verified that the .prox file installed into the same folder as all of the other expansion sounds. Is the file bad? Or what? I'm out of ideas. Anybody have Classical Guitar working in Notion 5 (latest Windows version)? |
Excepting Classical Guitar, the only other grayed out instrument is Harpsichord, that I don't see available currently in the PreSonus shop.
Might that be the next new expansion instrument??? |
Hi,
Please can someone tell me what are the limitation of the demo version?

Well, I found the answer in the pdf manual:
You will not be able to save, export or print until you have activated, but you can import, open files and try out Notion for an unlimited time. I guess, print this sentence on the notion demo download page or at least in this topic to clearly inform their potential customers of what they are about to install on their computer, conditions and limitations, was to painful for Presonus. Added to this the new Studio One 3 disappointment regarding the midi edition capacity that doesn't fill the features request from their customers, all that gives me a bad impression about the company, their communication and their attention toward customers. Bad sales-oriented move for the target I reprensent. Just saying… regards
