This happens continually, so that I cannot use the Audiobox either for listening or editting. Because the sound also keeps appearing and disapearing all the time.
Is it a hardware issue or software or operating system? (I use Windows 10) Please help me out. Thanks. |
One possibility:
The AudioBox driver is NOT multiclient. That means that if one application is "using" audio (like YouTube), no other application will have access to the driver. This is the reason that I leave the default motherboard audio (Realtek) active, and the default for Windows audio. I then specifically map audio apps and standalone virtual instruments to the AudioBox's ASIO driver. So, if you're trying to use the AudioBox for ALL audio, you might want to rethink that. A couple of months ago, I also had the AudioBox driver stop responding once. A reboot fixed it, and it hasn't happened since. |
