AudioBox 1818VSL, 44VSL and 22VSL

I've just unpacked and connected a new 1818 VSL to my iMac, and would like to use it with GarageBand at this time.
I have successfully recorded a test track through a mic into GarageBand, and can play it back through my monitor speakers, which are connected to the L and R main outputs of the unit. I can control the monitor volume with the Main control knob, just as it should be.
But, I get nothing through the headphones. I've tried two different pair of head phones and have turned up the Phones volume control, with no success.
I don't get it, why am I getting proper output to my monitors but not to my headphones?
My iMac is running Yosemite V 10.10.5 and GarageBand V 10.1.3.
Thanks in advance,
Gary

The 1818's headphone output is routed to outputs 7/8 so you can set your output (or an audio send) to outputs 7/8.
Some Mac users actually leave their studio monitors connected to outputs 7/8 in the back of the unit and just make 7/8 the main output. Of course this will unfortunately obviate the main volume pot but it will pass audio through your monitors and headphones at the same time.

I followed Presonus instructions to the letter to reroute my 7 & 8

My main monitors are plugged into mains and there is no change. I get audio from main speakers and no headphone action at all.
So far this 1818 is nothing but problems.

Ok so im able to get headphone monitoring while recording etc but the problem is no playback signal at all through the headphones. I can see the LR output signal, and get playback through the speakers, but no playback sound through headphones...

Any ideas? Every time I reinstall the driver the headphone playback works for a while (day or so) then cuts out...

Wondering if this got resolved. My headphones were working via my 1818VSL and recently stopped. I thought it happened when I was playing with FatChannel scenes but I can't be sure. I see nothing on the "Phones 7-8' meter (fader is up), though I get signal through the Mains.

Hi ,

VSL Software has been deprecated, I have been using the universal control for a while now in version 2.0.1, and in each project/song I set up a cuemix by routing the headphone to output 7/8, and never had problems. I use it with Studio One 3 and also with Protools 12.

Hello!
I got the some problem doing playback from my headphones. First i got sound in my headphones and monitors but when i "reset scene" (in audio box 118118 VSL) suddenly the sound disappear from my headphones. Still i can hear the music from the monitors. Actually i remember it had hapend me before but i can´t remember how the sound comes back.
I tryed to turn everything on and of but still - no sound.

(Little later)

Well now i got sound...when i whent to audio setup and enabled Qmix for both main out and headphones (7+8 in audiobox 118118). But i still have the question: What is Qmix and why haven´t i got any need of Qmix before to hear from both headphones and monitors?!?
When i use QMix sometimes there be a crackling noise, verry irretating....
HELP!
