To record a jazz combo live, I need 10 inputs.

If I can record the keyboard with the S/PDIF I'm OK;

How is it possible to connect the keyboard Outputs to Logic X via S/PDIF ?

Does the keyboard have SPDIF out? You would need to have some sort of device to be able to take the audio out from the keyboard, and output via spdif to the 1818. Not sure what equipment will be used.

No. You cannot directly connect your keyboard outputs UNLESS they are also SPDIF. SPDIF inputs are digital. Your keyboard outputs are analog. You will need either a A/D converter:

.......or a preamp with SPDIF digital outputs.

If you need a higher channel count you can also expand the 1818 via ADAT with a device such as the Presonus Digimax D8.
