How are the new drivers? Is latency any better?

Hi,
sorry for my approximative English...
after uninstall the old last driver from my audiobox 22vsl v1_3_5653, the install of the PreSonus Universal Control Installer-38570, was quick with no problem at all.
Try it, everythings seem alright.
A little bit dispointed as it was mention on the fack that it will Provide the latest firmware for the following devices... as for audiobox 22vsl...still the same !!!.

not good for me...
Now each time I launch winamp / vlc / game I got a short "crackle" sound (after it s ok).
Can't change hz resolution (always still back to 44Khz...)

go back to 1.3

config : windows 8.1 / 22VSL AB serie

Not good here either. Experiencing the same crackle when I hit play on anything that uses Windows Audio.

Roll back to 1.3, all good.

Did you have to do a full uninstall of 1.8?

yes, full uninstall & Ccleaner, Still crackle when hit play anything... Any correction for this driver ?

I was getting pops too. I tried just uninstalling and reinstalling 1.3, but the problem remained.

I then followed these steps and 1.3 is working perfectly.
