Hi all,

I am having driver issues.

I bought new AudioBox iTwo 6 days ago, since than i am fighting to insatll its driver into my PC.

1. I upgraded my motherboard BIOS (GigaByte GA-P55-USB3)
2. I Uninstalled my Avast antivirus.
3. I tried to install the driver into all of my USB 2.0 ports.
4. I Uninstalled and re-installed the driver as in the following guide:

http://support.presonus.com/entries/215 ... Windows-7-

All the time i am getting error : " Error 1073741674 Driver installation failed" after pressing "install driver".

My System:
- Core i5 750 CPU
- GigaByte GA-P55-USB3 mother board with 10 USB 2.0 Ports
- 4GB RAM
- Windows 7 32bit OS

Thanks

Hey Zeevbirnbaum

Been redong up on some others having that error aswell
I mostly comes back to a faulty .NET
I would as a fist advice to try and use the .Net fix tool
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135
also make sure you have .Net updated

Hopefully this helps

I have had the same problem with the load error message. I have a new dell with windows 10 and downloaded the current driver for windows 10. I opened a ticket, I was given a response that didn't help. I sent my system information 3 days ago and have not heard a response from presonus since. I tried calling presonus but could not get a hold of anybody. I am at a loss here. If I don't get this resolved or hear back from presonus I am going to return the audiobox usb to guitar center where I purchased it.

It could be any number of things. Have you optimized your pc for audio production?
Have you disabled wi-fi? Are you plugged into a USB2 or USB3 port? Did you install the drivers
from the included disc? Or did you download and use the drivers from this site? That being said
we can help you better now and in the future with a bit more info......if you will post your system specs in your signature, (see my sig), we will be better able to troubleshoot your problems. Without knowing what type of pc you're running, what OS you're using, what DAW etc....we often can't recommend a "simple fix"

If you have not already done so please READ THE MANUAL!

I just bought the AudioBox USB, running Windows 10. I also got this error message even after following the Knowledge Base instructions which were to resolve this issue. Apparently, this is a common problem they haven't resolved yet, even with the latest software/driver update. If they provided us with a driver, we could update it by knowing where we saved the downloaded driver file and following the windows steps for updating the driver.

I submitted a ticket earlier today. Awaiting a response.

Was there EVER a response to this? I recently went from the 2x2 to the 1818vsl. I had issues installing the drivers for the 2x2 as well, but eventually found a work around. If I cant get this to work I will take it back. I need the headphone jack to work, and without the VSL I'm screwed. I've been fairly happy up to this point, frustrated a lot a times, but never the less.
