First of all I apologize for being a newbie in this field.
I bought a AudioBox USB with a Neewer NW-700 microphone. I installed everything onto my laptop but there was a really loud background noise that got louder and louder when using Studio One and I wasn't able to select my microphone. I bought a USB hub to power my AudioBox and the noise was gone. However, the microphone is still not being recognized.
Thanks for the help in advance

Is the Audio Box recognized in S1, and selected as the default device? If yes, then make sure the 48v phantom power is engaged for the mic channel. Then, while watching the input meters, bring the gain up on the Audiobox to see the signal coming in. Make sure the channel you are recording to is record armed, and the blue monitor button above that is engaged to hear the signal through the headphones.
