Hello everyone,

I recently set up my AudioBox as an audio device in Studio One 3, but for some reason my Yamaha keyboard won't send any sound to my computer through the AudioBox. I've tried to create a "new keyboard" in the Add Device menu, but that didn't help. The only information I can find to troubleshoot this problem refers to MIDI keyboards that connect directly to the computer via USB, but I'm using the AudioBox with an instrument cable connected to my keyboard.

Any ideas on what may be the solution?

Thank You!

Are you trying to record audio or MIDI?

I've tried to create a "new keyboard" in the Add Device menu

That is only for setting up your keyboard as a MIDI controller.

That being said we can help you better now and in the future with a bit more info......if you will post your system specs in your signature, (see my sig), we will be better able to troubleshoot your problems. Without knowing what type of pc you're running, what OS you're using, what DAW etc....we often can't recommend a "simple fix"

If you have not already done so please READ THE MANUAL!

I think I'm having a similar problem. I have a Yamaha P200, and an Audiobox VSL44, and I can send controller data, but I am not able to generate sound.

I just posted an 'ask' here: viewtopic.php?p=129005#p129005
