I usually plug my SM-57/58 directly into my audiobox and the mic operation works fine. However when I plugged my brand new NT1-A into the box, I get nothing.

I checked the phantom power rating on the audiobox and it's 48V and I checked the power requirements on the NT1-A and it requires 48V so it should work should it not?

If I need to get a further power provider hardware, can anyone suggest something suitable?

thanks very much,
s.

If...at the end of the day you can say "It's better than it was." you're doing it right.
