DAW not recognizing some inputs from Firestudio 26x26

I have a Firestudio 26x26 running on a Win7 (SP1) machine... when using the unit and connected to computer, everything works fine in the Universal Control 1.2, meaning all inputs are getting signal and outputs.... but when using a DAW thru firewire, to record multitrack (simultaneous), input 2 and input 6 are not getting any signal....
Please help....

Well, if you're getting inputs on all channels in UC via fireware that has likely eliminated all culprits but ONE. It's your DAW. Something must not be set right in your DAW. Also a bit more info would be helpful.For instance you haven't told us which version of UC you're using. The 26x26 is a legacy machine and doesn't get on well with versions past 1.71. You also haven't told us which DAW you're using. That being said we can help you better now and in the future with a bit more info......if you will post your system specs in your signature, (see my sig), we will be better able to troubleshoot your problems. Without knowing what type of pc you're running, what OS you're using, what DAW etc....we often can't recommend a "simple fix"
