Hi. I can get my hands on a used firestudio 26x26 pretty cheap. Im going to use it for a hobby studio.
My questions is this: Drivers!
Is everything running fine in El capitan?I know presonus officially doesnt support el capitan, and I know Apple is dropping FW support, but i have read that most of the FW stuff is still working fine. I know this isnt a future proof solution, but i dont have to be bleeding edge in the future.. It just needs to work.
Plus i like the fact that you can expand with adat, and th emonitor controller.
Thanks:)

Well.....there are no Presonus drivers or UC control for the 26x26 that will work in El Capitan.
That being said I've gotten the 26x26 to run using later Firestudio drivers but you lose the mixer.
And you can probably get it to work without drivers at all under core audio...but I can't confirm that.
I have 26x26 but I'm not a Mac guy.
