Hi all, When using the FS Project and the firewire cable becomes disconnected (Windows 7 PC), when I reconnect I get the solid red light. Seems like it should fire right back up.

I can bring it back to life by restarting my PC, but as you can imagine that is far from ideal. From all the "red light" posts in the archive, I couldn't find anything that specifically addressed this issue.

Anybody got a quick fix for this, aside from duct taping the firewire cable in? Restarting each time is...onerous.

I can provide more system details if that's helpful.

There is a "proper boot sequence" - hot plugging is not recommended.
