Driver update possible?

Will there possibly be a driver update for the Firestudio Projekt/Mobile/Tube for MacOS Mojave?

Does anyone know, if it runs on Mojave with the current driver (UC 1.7.6)?

Thank you very much, Trucky! This is helpful indeed.

So now I only have to find out, if my FirestudioTube, which is running on the same driver (and which is used daisy chained to the Firestudio Project here on MacOS High Sierra without any issues) could be making problems.

Have you tried to go to the UC and switch from Firestudio-Master to SPDIF and back ?
Have solved issues for me on two Projects daisy-chained.

Just to keep this updated. Mojave worked really well up to 10.14.4.

After updating the OS to 10.14.5 I had to reinstall UC because of occurring crackling. That did the trick. After updating to Mojave 10.14.6 it is crackling here and there - even after reinstalling UC.
So I think the Firestudio- interfaces are outdated soon, if there is no driver-update coming. What a pity this would be. They are still great and have great preamps.

Very few manufacturers support discontinued hardware forever. If you want to continue to use unsupported legacy hardware......get off the update train. I've got 2 Firestudio 26x26's and a MOTU 8Pre for a 24-trk recording rack. There's nothing wrong with the hardware. It cost me FAR less to simply build a legacy pc FOR the hardware than it would have cost me to buy all new interfaces.
Sure, I have other machines that run shiny new OS's for other reasons. But there's no need to "upgrade" my DAW. It works fine. It's not broke....and I'm not going to fix it until I have no other choice.

Installing under Catalina is impossible.

So instead of buying a control surface or new monitors a new interface has to be?

Really?

I've gotten e-mails from DOZENS of major companies including Roland warning Mac users NOT to update to Catalina. Apple is throwing the entire pro audio industry under the bus. They don't care about this small niche market. They are more concerned with their pc's playing nice with their iPhones and iPads. If you don't like it that you're gear doesn't work with newer Mac OS's it's APPLE'S fault. Complain to them.....or switch to Windows.
