Hi guys,

I thank you in advance for your patience!

I have an FSP that's not synching. It's got a new power board installed, and one slightly bulging capacitor replaced. (The repair shop found that after the power board replacement, the unit still didn't synch, and they offered to replace the whole motherboard for i think £250 - I declined, and decided to try find the problem myself and maybe learn something while I'm at it),

I'm a beginner in electronics. I'm continuity testing the board with a multimeter, and have found that of the three capacitors (if that's what they are, can only see the soldering points underneath) one each fire wire port, the two on each that are closest to the port input give me nice beeps, but the third one gives a "0".

I'm just wondering, is this is as should be?

Many thanks!

Markus
