My Universal Control lists its driver as: 4.0.0.14255 5244. However, the Firestudio Mobile downloads page lists the most recent driver as Version 1.7.2 for PC. Those numbers aren't even close. What's the story on that?

What's the story on that? The "story" is that 4.0.0.14255 5244 is the version of the current DRIVER....1.7.2 is the current version of the UC SOFTWARE. They are two separate things hence two separate numbers.

Ah, good. It's the driver I was most concerned about. Thanks.
I'm using Adobe Audition CC 2014, and in the most recent version, the programs lags in drawing waveforms when I'm recording. It's a serious lag - seconds. Other people using different interfaces aren't experiencing this. I'm told it's an interface driver issue. If that's the case, I suppose the chances of Presonus coming up with a new driver for an interface as old the Firestudio Mobile are probably zero to none? |

The FSM is still in production as is the Firestudio Project. As they share the same driver and are still being produced I would assume that development will continue.
