I am probably behind the curve on this... but noticed that FireStudio Mobile is now discontinued. I have one of these and have been using it for years. Is there an issue with the product? and, is there an upgrade path?

The product is fine but the firewire port is getting out of fashion. New computers don’t have them anymore, nor PC nor Mac. As long as you have a firewire port availabe you should be fine. Should either your computer or the interface die eventually then Thunderbolt/USB-C AVB/Dante should be alternatives.
