I do scripting in Reaper and users always ask if I can do the same for Studio One, I say NO you need CIA clearance to get this information
 WHY is this ? Lawrence used to be helpful but he seems to of disappeared along with others, not sure if this has to do with the CIA clearance needed ?? Look how easy this is: https://www.extremraym.com/cloud/reascript-doc/ heaven forbid if Presonus makes it this easy ! |

I'm with you. It's ridiculous. The macro function does not cut it it all. And the MIDI-device handling for external hardware is a joke. You cannot even arrange, resize or colorise the knobs and faders.
And god forbid you have crazy ideas like attaching a MIDI-event, CC, or note to something like a HTTP GET or POST command or try to drive a GPIO for a tally. I guess Presonus doesn't really like people that "make" stuff. They rather come up with new features you don't need in a DAW, like the half-implemented video-stack. |
